Kids n' Dogs

This is a tired house.  My little people have been outside more often than not this past week of spring break.  The weather has been perfect and we have taken full advantage with 4-wheeling, park time, Easter egg hunts, zip lines and fort building all with good friends and now DOGGIES.
Yep, we got 2 new 4-legged friends on Thursday and they are precious.  It is bittersweet for me because I still really miss my Kramer and I find myself comparing these guys (both boys) to him which is not fair and stupid, really.  But that is where I am.

These are rescue dogs and so they are just happy to be here.  They will be great additions to our family and my kids are in love with them.  It is weird to have young dogs again-one is 2 years old and the other about 1 year old and I had forgotten about the chewing, playing and jumping that a young doggie can do!  It is so fun to watch them and brings back memories and Andy and Kramer in their glory days.

Nora is climbing, crawling and cruising like a banshee...sometimes all of that leads to this...

and sometimes it just leads to this...

D is busy building, riding and playing...

GoGo has been a bit accident prone lately (a problem for your toes when you refuse to wear anything but Barbie dress up heels or fancy flip flops).  All of her escapades led to this...
That's my girl passed out cold on the kitchen floor.

Monday morning should be an absolute dream.
